An Artist's Life, 1951, Museum Press, presentation copy to Harry Backhouse with lengthy inscription, signed and dated by the artist on the pastedown, large pencil sketch to the half title, also signed and dated by Munnings, original cloth;
with a small collection of Munnings related items, comprising;
Munnings'
Royal Academy of Arts invitation card with pen and ink sketch/doodle, signed by the artist;
A Menu card
, with pencil sketches by the artist on three sides, signed, torn in two at fold;
A card
with pencil sketches front and rear, signed and dated;
A two page T.L.S.
, from Munnings to Backhouse, 12th December, 1949;
A photograph
of 'In the [Saddling] Paddock, Cheltenham', inscribed by Backhouse to rear [some of the sketches appear to be related to this picture]

Book - tanning/foxing to endpapers, front free endpaper with tape stains both sides. Front endpaper split at hinge but linen holding. Tape residue and some foxing to frontis, light foxing to title page. Light foxing to edges of text-block. Binding weak. Cloth dull, gilt lettering very faded (see images). Ephemera - see images.
