Secunda editio, longe copiosor prima, Florence: Lorenzo Torrentino, 1549. 8vo (169 x 96 mm), later vellum, 318 [2] pp., retaining final blank (2X4), damp-staining, title-page soiled and with chip to upper fore corner not affecting text, worming to foot of gutter in quires N-P - Horatius Flaccus (Quintus). [Opera] accedunt nunc Danielis Heinsii De Satyra Horatiana libri duo, Leiden: ex officina Elzeviriana, 1629. 3 parts in 1 volume, 16mo (128 x 70 mm) contemporary vellum, yapp edges, engraved title-page, faint damp-staining to lower fore corners, small hole in part 1 leaf I1 affecting a few letters, final blank either lacking or used as rear pastedown,(qty: 3) Provenance (Horatius only): Beilby Thompson (1742-1799), British landowner and politician, with his engraved Escrick Hall bookplate.
