Collection of 72 covers/cards from 1910s to 1950s, including WWI scarce censor machine cancel, 'Poczta Polska' ovpt surcharge stationery, 1919 Northern Poland overprints set on cover, nice range of commercial express/registered frankings of the 1930s, through to WWII with series of covers with issues of the Polish government in exile incl. Monte Cassino surcharges set, fifteen General Gouvernement philatelic and commercial frankings incl. official mail, etc. All housed in a cover album with some write-up.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
