Figure - firing cracks to the reverse. Right hand detached and with loss to index and third fingers. Some other minor flakes. No restoration. Unglazed patch front centre on the robes.


Incense burner - handle sprig restored. Crazed. Minor flakes to the leaf edges.

Auction: Summer Fine Sale, 13th Jul, 2024

The Summer Fine Sale offers nearly 450 lots of ceramics, Asian art, clocks, rugs, works of art and furniture, including a collection of 19th century Terracotta Campagna Urns from Raby Castle, County Durham, a Lock of Florence Nightingale's Hair, and a French Alabaster Figure Group of the Holy Family, probably made in South West France in the late 14th century. A Private Collection of English Pottery will be offered in twenty-three lots, including numerous Prattware and Creamware figures, and the sale will also include pieces of fine 19th century furniture and good early oak and walnut furniture.
