Relined. Covered in a thick layer of dirt and discoloured varnish. Retains a reasonable to good level of surface with some general flattening of impasto. Small cluster of flaked paint above hillside to far left hand side. Small push mark back to front just below centre of tree trunk far left hand side with tiny amount of associated losses. Surface scratches mostly to varnish above and centre of landscape with further smaller scratches seemingly only to varnish of various arrangements within sky and to left. Cleaning test patch? towards upper right hand corner. Possibly with small amount of horizontally linear minor retouches. Cleaning test patch approx. 6cm in diameter. Minor superficial slightly diagonal surface scratch within lower foliage of far right hand side tree approx. 2cm in length. Tiny nick/loss of paint to lower part of right hand side tree trunk. Odd further scuff/minor imperfection. No real indication of retouching under UV - but not neccessarily categoric. The glass has been smashed - a piece remains in upper left hand corner with further small piece on lower edge left (wedged in). Otherwise in a broadly good and stable state of preservation.
