♦Charles I, Shilling, Briot’s Second Milled Issue 1638-39, mm anchor both sides, obv. CAROLVS.D.G.MAG.BRIT.FR.ET.HIB.REX around Briot’s late bust with stellate lace collar, rev. cross moline to inner beaded circle over square-topped shield of arms, S.2859, edge beading not struck up or worn in parts & faint scratches in field both sides o/wise good edge & surfaces, RARE AVF to VF.
