Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus), late 19th/early 20th century, taxidermy head mounted as a console, with mahogany type top, 100cm long, 52cm wide, 36cm deep approx

Shot by Edward Keen, circa 1900. He was a businessman in India returning to Britain around 1920. The present vendor purchased these via an acquaintance who had originally acquired them from Edward Keen's great-grandson.

Gharial head is 95cm long, 36cm wide, 20cm deep.
