A Gold Waterman's Ideal Fountain Pen, London, 1929, 9 Carat with screw cap and overall engine-turned finish, 13.3cm long

Fully marked on stem and further part marked on cover. The cover stamped 'Watermans Ideal Fountain Pen'. The clip and lever further stamped with 'Ideal' trademark. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some small cracks to the base of the pen as well as to the top where the resin connects to the body. There are two holes in the body, though these are possibly constructional. The total gross weight is 21gr.
