. Foot rim is loose and can be detached from the ivory body. Hinge with some sideways movement as per construction. Some general wear to the high points of the decoration and chasing. A hand of one satyr has been broken off and the arm of the finial has been re-stuck, otherwise the ivory appears generally in good order, with the occasional small nick. Some ingrained dirt to both details of ivory and mounts.
