An Early 19th Century Indo-Persian Qajar Jambiya, each side of the 24cm double edge curved steel blade with raised medial ridge, one side of the walrus ivory hilt carved with Rostam standing grief stricken over his dead son Sohrab, the opposing side with Rostam killing the White Div, bordered above and below with script, the leather scabbard with coiled steel suspender band, 36cm

Footnote:- The carved decoration on the hilt is taken from The Shahname (Book of Kings)

The sale will offer a good Private Collection of 19th Century Pistols, including fine pair of 19th Century 28 Bore Percussion Saw Handled Duelling/Target Pistols by Edward London and a U.S. Colt Model 1851 Navy Six Shooter.
