A German Third Reich Deutsche Reichsbahn Alpaka (Nickel Silver) Tray, of rounded rectangular form, the raised moulded rim applied with eagle and swastika flanked by D R, the underside of the base stamped with maker's logo of B and a locomotive, ALPAKA and the train number 242, 36.5cm by 28.5cm
**The vendor's father, 14351809 Sergeant Jack Flanagan of the Royal Engineers, acquired this tray when serving as Sergeant at Arms on General Roberts train at the end of the Second World War. It is sold together with a number of photographs showing him and comrades with the train, also a testimonial and a pass
