1921 George V ½d green with '30 Paras' surcharge inverted, mint (SG.41a), a most intriguing error as the note in Gibbons states 'known...but status uncertain', this example accompanied by extensive research and census and a copy of the BPA certificate for block of four to which this single formerly belonged (upper left stamp). The evidence, especially the uniform positioning on the few known examples, strongly suggests this is at least an officially produced overprint, just yet to be given full SG listing. Rare.
