A Brace of 18th Century Continental Flintlock Holster Pistols, the 18.5cm and 19.5cm barrels octagonal at the breech, each with unsigned lock plate engraved with foliage and standards, walnut full stock with raised carving around the steel barrel tang, trigger guard and ramrod pipes, with shaped side plate, spurred oval butt cap and wood ramrod, 33cm and 35cm

Both actions work, holding at full and half cock. There is pitting and black patching to the metalwork. The bores are dirty and rust pitted. One has a stock with a small crack to the pommel and the top jaw of the cock is missing. The other has a chip and a crack running from below the frizzen spring to the opposite barrel edge near the ramrod pipe. It has a further crack to the right fore-end at the muzzle and eight small worm holes.
