Taxidermy: Indian Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris), by Van Ingen & Van Ingen, Mysore, India, circa 1940, skin rug with head mount, jaw agape, glass eyes with ears laid back, mounted upon typical canvas backing material with serrated green felt trim, 256cm nose to tail, 181cm across the fore-limbs, 173cm across the rear limbs

claws - FR 4, FL 5, RR 2, RL 3, overall in need of restoration, patched old repair to left cheek, various old holes and stitched repairs to skin surface overall, some wear to fur around lower shoulders and flanks, both ear seems open, all teeth present but chips/slight damage, felt trim to outer edge deteriorated, some small amounts of filler and paint loss around gumline, 18/09/19
