An Austrian Ebonised Striking Alarm Table Clock, signed Joseph Kerner, in Leoben, late 18th century, inverted bell top pediment with carrying handle and turned finials, glass side panels, pull repeat and alarm winding cords, 5-1/2-inch arch brass dial with a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, elaborately scroll engraved dial centre with mock pendulum aperture and alarm disc, arch signed on a circular silvered plaque, twin spring barrel movement with verge escapement and striking on a bell, bob pendulum, 43cm high

Case with rubbing to ebonised surfaces, small chips and cracks in parts, top right hand corner with a crack and needs securing, small signs of woodworm holes which appear to be none active, dial is discoloured, movement looks complete but needs cleaning, in going order.
