Small flakes to the edges of the birds wings (knop). Natural inclusion crack at the birds beak/head and another at the rim. A similar natural hook shaped crack to the main rim of the vase, another to a scroll of one ruyi, to the feet and underside. Stand with some minute edge chips.
A photocopy of the original receipt is available to the purchaser.

Auction: Summer Fine Sale, 13th Jul, 2024
The Summer Fine Sale offers nearly 450 lots of ceramics, Asian art, clocks, rugs, works of art and furniture, including a collection of 19th century Terracotta Campagna Urns from Raby Castle, County Durham, a Lock of Florence Nightingale's Hair, and a French Alabaster Figure Group of the Holy Family, probably made in South West France in the late 14th century. A Private Collection of English Pottery will be offered in twenty-three lots, including numerous Prattware and Creamware figures, and the sale will also include pieces of fine 19th century furniture and good early oak and walnut furniture.
