Four albums, a cover album and a box-file of desk-clearance material, the albums including two green Rapkin loose-leaf volumes mainly for KGV to early QEII, with values generally to 1/-, incl. Egypt 1933 aviation congress set mint, Bermuda 1935 Silver Jubilee set mint with 1/- 'kite and vertical log' variety (SG.97k, cat. £275) and KGVI 2/6d mint, 1953 coronation omnibus looking complete mint, etc. Also GB KGVI mint 1951 high values set and much MNH pre-decimal QEII incl. ½d Wilding sheets.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
