Collection from classics to modern in seven volumes, the main run on quadrille pages in four loose-leaf albums, starting with 1851 3cts imperf on cover, perf 15 issues, 1861/62 incl. nice 5cts dark brown and 10cts green, 24cts shades, etc, a small range of grills, 1869 3cts pair on cover and sound 30cts, followed by the Banknote issues incl. 1870/71 to 90cts, through to Columbus $2 (repaired corner) and sound 30cts and 50cts, 1894/85 $1 Perry, 1910s/'20s to $5, etc. Much back of the book also, with departmentals incl. War 2cts mint and Treasury 15cts pre-printing paper fold, postage dues, parcel posts set to $1, revenues and civil war, airmails section incl. 50cts 'baby zeppelin' flight cover, also Possessions with Canal Zone from handstamps onwards, Cuba, Guam, Hawaii incl. 'provisional govt 1893' $1 mint, Philippines and Porto/Puerto Rico. Together with a moon-landing collection on covers and collector's working stockbook with lots of Washington/Franklin heads to $1, precancels etc. Mixed condition. Please inspect thoroughly. Sold for the benefit of the RSPB.
