Collection of over 1400 different stamps in two binders, attractive presentation as an effort has been made to include only neat cds postmarks. Much is in short sets however some better sets also present including sets to £1 of Gambia, Sierra Leone and Tristan da Cunha, range of Malaysian States incl. Penang sets to $5, etc.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
