A stockbook packed with about 1500+ mint stamps of KGVI and QEII, much in short sets though some better high values incl. KGVI Bermuda to 5/- key type, Gibraltar to 10/-, Jamaica to 10/-, etc. Also a binder of mainly lower value blocks and souvenir sheets, though we note Ascension SG.40a 1½d Davit flaw (cat. £400) MNH at lower left of block of four.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
