Late 19th Century Gull Wing Knitting Stick, with floral and heart incised decoration, turned and stepped handle, 24cm, Another of a Similar Date, with a turned handle and good patina, 23cm, two others,
a 'Goose's Thropple' this was used in cottages by knitters, incorporating a length of dried windpipe made into a loop with a dried pea placed inside, the wool was then wrapped around this, therefore if the ball rolled away, a quick jerk on the wool would make the thropple rattle and the ball could be found, a handwritten letter to Mrs Goodchild from Ellen Eyres of Keswick, a Teasel Bat on a wooden frame, used for brushing up the nap on the finished cloth, 25cm wide by 23cm high, tin knitting needle case (6)
