Collection in two reprinted 'New Imperial' albums for Queen Victoria to King George V somewhat sparsely filled, along with similar King George VI album better filled, approx. 1500 stamps total, mostly mint in black mounts, including Malaya 1936/37 set MNH to $2 (SG.260/273, cat. £100+ for hinged), South Africa 1935 jubilee ½d pair showing blade flaw of parallel lines, the KGVI with useful never hinged to high values, KUT to 10/- mint, Leewards to £1 mint, Mauritius 1938 set mint, etc, etc. The albums very clean. Please inspect.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
