Taxidermy: A Victorian Cased Kentish Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus), dated 05th September, 1859, a full mount adult stood upon a sand covered floor, set against a plain papered interior, enclosed within a period ebonised single-glass table display case 22cm by 9cm by 16cm, bearing hand written label to verso "Kentish plover shot by Jackville Russell, Poole Harbour, 5th Sept 1858", retail trade label to underside for "The Victorian Taxidermy Co Ltd".
