Skulls/Anatomy: Fossilized British Giant Deer Lower and Upper Jaw, (Megaloceros giganteus)), est - 20-30,000 years old, part upper and lower jaw sections, both 18cm long, these were found in the clay banks of the River Thames London in 2011.

The Irish elk (Megaloceros giganteus) also called the giant deer or Irish giant deer, is an extinct species of deer in the genus Megaloceros and is one of the largest deer that ever lived. Its range extended across Eurasia during the Pleistocene, from Ireland to Siberia to China. A related form is recorded in China during the Late Pleistocene.
