Luxembourg

Two volumes from a collector's large holding of stockbooks and albums, hundreds of stamps from early issues onwards, highlights being the 1935 intellectuals/professions set mint (SG.324/338, cat. £900), 1950 war orphans set MNH (SG.533/538, cat. £180), 1951 united Europe set used (cat. £160), 1952 philatelic exhibition pair MNH (SG.552f/g, cat. £190), 1956 Europa tower set extremely lightly hinged mint, etc. Also a good miniature sheet section at the end of the album volume incl. 1946 martyrs superb used (SG.MS478a, cat. £500), 1949 Grand-Duchess Charlotte MNH (SG.MS524a, cat. £225), etc. The scarce 1923 birth of Princess Elisabeth sheet (SG.MS221, cat. £3,250) we presume to be a good forgery even to the extent of having the usual holes off the end of the perforation lines, however we could be wrong! Please inspect.
