♦2 x Italian States, Venice Silver Coins, comprising: (1) Half Scudo (70 Soldi), undated (1632), Francesco Erizzo (Doge 1631-1646) obv. FRANC .ERIZZO.DVX. VEN (and mint master's initials D M, Domenego Michiel, at 6 o'clock) around a large floriated cross, leaves in angles, within beaded circle, rev. SANCVS.MARC.VENE. around winged lion of St. Mark in ornate shield, value 70 (soldi) in exergue, diameter 34mm, weight 15.64g, a few contact marks/light scratches, full clear legends, Fine to GFine; and (2) Quarter Scudo (35 Soldi), undated (1625), Giovanni I Cornaro (Doge 1625-1629) obv. IOAN CORNEL.DVX.VEN (and mint master's initial D M, Tomaso da Mosta, at 6 o'clock) around a large floriated cross, leaves in angles, within beaded circle, rev. SANCTVS.MARC.VE. around winged lion of St. Mark in ornate shield, value 35 (soldi) in exergue, diameter 30mm, weight 7.39g, edge bent and three edge nicks between 8 and 12 o'clock, full clear legends, VG to AFine; both .948 silver.
