A 20th Century Turkana Steel Shield, Kenya, constructed from a steel drum, beaten into a dished rectangular panel, the reverse with central groove to accommodate the bent wood spine and handle, 97cm; a Turkana Spear, Kenya, the small leaf shape blade with detachable rolled hide guard, with long socket mounted on the wood haft, the opposing end with socket head long spiked butt, 270cm; a Mid 20th Century Ivory Coast Wood Self Bow, with cane string; a Benin, Nigeria Bronze Armlet, of torque form, with reed bands worked with semi-circular motifs, purchased in 1951 (4)
