Taxidermy: A Wall Cased Tawny Owl & Sparrowhawk, circa 1930, by Henry Murray, Naturalist's & Taxidermist's, Bank Buildings, Carnforth, a superb quality diorama depicting a female Sparrowhawk and Tawny Owl, both full mounts perched upon painted branches, issuing from a painted faux rock ledge, amidst a natural setting of dry grasses, ferns and fauna, set against an oil painted river scene back drop, enclosed within a typical oak framed five-glass wall hanging display case, 46.5cm by 15cm by 51cm excluding outer frame, large full paper trade label to verso, another small paper trade label to interior upper left
