GB Collection - Valuable collection in a Windsor Sovereign Album. Condition varies but many fine. Mainly used with 1d Blacks (3), 2d Blue with various margins, 1841 1d and 2d, good 1d stars section, large crown perf 16 1d and 2d, good 1d plates 71 to 224, 2d blue plates complete, embossed 6d and 1/- (2). With excellent ranges of QV surface printed, often in quantity to 2/- (6), 1867 5/- with cds used plate 2. High Values with 1883 2/6 to 10/- (3 of each), 1884 £1 (small faults), 1883 set, 1887 to £1 green (perf fault). Then good ranges of KEVII printings and shades to 1/-, 2/6 (5), 5/- (4), 10/- and £1. KGV with good Downeys, SeaHorses to 10/- (5) with all printings, PUC £1, various sideways and inverted wmks. Also with good postage dues almost complete and officials including 5/- specimen mint. Huge cat. value lot, stated to cat about £70,000.
