VTRAQUE VNUM around crowned globes between two crowned pillars and banner, Mexico City mint, weight 27.16g, .917 silver, hairlines and minor contact marks otherwise good edge and surfaces, lustrous VF to GVF; Spanish Colony, Charles IV 1807TH (assayer's initials), obv. CAROLUS .IIII. DEI.GRATIA around laureate bust of Charles IV, rev. HISPAN.ET.IND.REX. Mo.8R.T.H. around crowned shield of arms, between two pillars with banner, Mexico City mint, weight 27g, .896 silver, obv. hairlines, faint scratches on bust, minor rim imperfections otherwise good edge and surfaces Fine/AVF; and Empire of Iturbide (1822-1823) 1823 JM (assayer's initials) established after Father Miguel Hidalgo declared independence from Spain in 1810 and achieved by General Iturbide in 1821 (deposed in 1823 when a Republic was declared), obv. AUGUSTINUS DEI PROVIDENTIA around bare head right, rev. MEX.I.IMPERATOR.CONSTITUT.J.M around crowned eagle, wings spread, standing on cactus, Mexico City Mint, weight 26.61g, .903 silver, contact marks, small digs and toning spots, both sides VG; together with Guatemala, Spanish Colony, Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1813NG M (NG = Nova Guatemal City mint, M = assayer's initial), obv. FERDIN.VI.DEI.GRATIA around laureate and draped bust right, rev. HISPAN.ET. IND.REX.N.G.8R.M around crowned shield of arms between two crowned pillars with banner, weight 27.08g, .896 silver, deliberate scratches across bust, hairlines, minor contact marks, good edge, GFine to AVF.
