There are numerous damages/losses to the edges in general - the most notable being a demi-lune shaped loss towards lower left corner and is approx. 1cm at widest point. General staining and foxing across sheet which is more pronounced within the exposed area of the oval mount and notable patches to outer edges. Losses/damage/repairs at her right shoulder and across the chest area. Further surface dirt and possible abrasion as definition appears reduced etc... AF

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
