SUFF.R., with photocopy of Medal Index Card and Commonwealth War Graves Casualty Details Footnote:- Private William Pearson was born in Withersfield, Suffolk. He served in the Great War from 31st August 1915 and died of wounds on the Western Front on 24th November 1916. He is buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, France
