An early Ideal album (1910 edition) with many hundreds of mint and used stamps, especially German States, Canada 10d Cartier imperf (faults), Cape triangles, Ceylon halfpenny lilac mint, China with 3 candarins red dragon, 2cts 'red revenue' and other interesting overprints, followed by GB incl. 1d black and 1840 2d blue with variable margins, 6d brown 'specimen' (faults), 2/- blue, 1884 1/- green cds, through to revenues and 1d Mulready envelope used with circular Kimbolton arrival and indistinct Penny Post markings, also India from 1855 4a red and blue cut-to-shape, Italy incl. 1890 20cts on 50cts mauve mint (cat.£600), useful New Zealand and Australian States, United States incl. 1867 90cts Washington with grill used (cat. £2,250), etc. Mixed condition as usual for collections of this vintage. Sleepers likely, please inspect thoroughly.
