A large box with seven albums and loose. Includes four volume 1981 wedding collection, well-filled with lots of booklets, plus additional leaves in packs. Two volume Queen Mother 80th birthday, the cover volume filled and the stamp volume with loose awaiting incorporation, as well as 1977 Silver Jubilee in a small album with no empty spaces, again lots of booklets and m/s, plus a small box of sets and miniature sheets in glassines. Many hundreds of stamps all MNH.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
