Taxidermy: A Large Cased Northern Pike (Esox lucius), dated 1999, a large skin specimen, preserved and mounted within a naturalistic setting amidst reeds and grasses, set above a pebbled and rock river bed, mounted against a pale blue painted backdrop, enclosed within an ebonised three-glass display case with internal gilt border, 127cm by 21cm by 51cm, bearing hand written paper legend to interior upper left - "Pike 28lbs, caught by D.J. Burr, River Ure, Nr Middleham, 13-3-99".
