Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Large Domed Diorama of Tropical Birds, circa 1870-1900, a superb diorama of various tropical birds, comprising - Red-legged Honeycreeper, Ring-necked Parakeet, Red-cowled Cardinal, Violaceouse Euphonia, Saffron Finch, Palm Tanager, Buff-rumped Warbler,Flame-crested Tanager, Bull-headed Shrike, etc, all mounted upon centrally mounted branches, amidst tall grasses, ferns and foliage, upon painted faux rockwork, enclosed beneath a large period glass dome, supported upon an ebonised oval base, raised on four squat feet, 51cm by 22cm by 63cm
