A banker's box loaded with collections and stockpages full of worldwide sets, as well as many on cover, particularly the two cover albums of flowers (this from the collector of postal history including Lots 37, 56 and 157) with well over 150 covers from 1922 slogan for Dutch bulb farm tying 80pf Germania through many 1950s FDCs incl. Hungary 1958 philatelic exhibition souvenir sheet, Netherlands Antilles set on 1955 FDC, Yemen 1965 flowers FDC (with Pope's visit FDC, each addressed to one of the Yemeni princes), as well as China, Korea, Bhutan, etc, etc. A great lot for the collector of this theme.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
