baluster and on spreading foot, the hinged domed cover with openwork thumbpiece, the scroll handle engraved with initials 'I' over 'G*J'

Fully marked under foot and inside cover. The marks are generally clear. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The lower handle junction is pushed slightly into the body.
