A George III Silver Teapot, by Solomon Hougham, London, 1799, oval bombe and with a vacant cartouche on each side, the rim and foot each with a band of engraved trellis and flower panels, 29.5cm wide, gross weight 15oz 10dwt, 482gr

Fully marked under base. The cover marked inside with lion passant only. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises to the vacant cartouches which have possibly been erased. There is a bruise to the base on one side and the wood handle is probably replaced.
