oval and with slightly bombé sides, engraved with foliage and on a collet foot with engraved Greek-key ornament, with wood handle and finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms on one side and a crest on the other

Fully marked underneath. The cover part marked inside. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wood handle and finial are differing colours. The finial may be replaced.
