A Chinese Ink Cake, late 19th century, of flattened oval shape, cast in relief with two sky dragons amongst impressed characters and clouds, picked out in silver and gold paint, 17.5cm wide; A Small English Chinoiserie Box, early 19th century, rectangular, decorated with a figure on a veranda with large butterfly in gilt on black, containing a collection of Chinese carved mother-of-pearl gaming counters and snow flakes; A Chinese Carved Bone Bodkin Case, circa 1900, cylindrical, containing a small quantity of sewing accoutrements, 16cm; and A Japanese Small Book of Woodblock Prints, 2nd half of 19th century, the cover depicting a European officer, containing folding battle scenes, involving Portuguese (?) and other Western enemies, 18cm by 12cm (4)

Ink cake - old drying cracks. Chinoiserie box - generally scuffed but reasonable, and most of the counters are good. Bodkin case - good. Woodblock book - appears good throughout. 25/2/09
