each piece compressed oval and on rim foot, the lower body part-fluted, the rim engraved with Greek-key ornament, comprising: a teapot with ebonised wood handle and finial; a cream-jug and a sugar-bowl

Each piece fully marked underneath. The teapot further part marked inside. The marks are generally clear. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving and the high points. The handle on the teapot is probably replaced. The finial, which is probably original, has been cracked and re-glued. There has been a repair to the rim of the teapot and the tip of the spout of the teapot.
