Two Circa 1940s Indian Cloth Dolls of Lord and Lady Mountbatten, possibly made for their arrival in India, he is depicted as a heavily moustached gent with stitched blue eyes, wearing a turban, red silk brocade coat with fur trim, matching shoes and pink pantaloons, Lady Mountbatten again has stitched blue eyes, wears a stylish pink velvet cloche/turban hat with gilt metal trim, a gold brocade jacket embroidered with floral motifs, matching shoes, gold silk pantaloons and a stitched label 'Halide', 26cm and 30cm (2)
