3 x Hammered Shillings comprising: Elizabeth I, sixth issue (1582-1600) without rose or date, bust 6B, ear shows, mm escallop; obv. numerous digs & scratches on & around bust, rev. better; full flan & full clear legends, 5.33g, bust Poor o/wise AFine to Fine; James I, second coinage (1604-1619), third bust with beard cut square, denomination XII to left of bust, mm rose, scratches & contact marks both sides, most of legends clear, 5.34g, VG & Charles I, class 3, fourth bust with inner circles, denomination XII to right of bust, rev. garnished oval shield with CR at sides mm portcullis, obv. scratches, hairlines & contact marks, rev. some edge corrosion between 12 & 3 o’clock, most of legends clear, 5.88g, VG to AFine, together with Charles I, hammered sixpence, mm crown, no inner circles, bust worn Poor o/wise VG, all four coins sometime cleaned.
