An Exceptional Early 19th Century Patchwork Quilt, with a central panel embroidered with fine wool 18th century floral sprigs and flower heads, this is then framed by a printed floral design of madder red, with embroidered squares to each corner, then a wider contrasting frame to the previous, the reverse is mounted with three part widths of white cotton, hand-quilted with scalloped designs and flower heads, cotton loops stitched to the top for hanging, 250cm by 273cm

Discolouration to the corners and to some of the printed patches. Several small areas of wear/holes. Darned patch to one of the embroidered corners and some patched. Several small brown marks overall. Reverse- slight discolouration and some brown spotting
