The pendant has a replaced/reworked pendant loop, this is hinged to open to allow it to be fitted to wider gauge chains/pearls. The pendant fitting unscrews to detach and can be replaced by a brooch pin fitting. The brooch pin, catch and screwdriver are all contained in the base of the fitted case. None of the component parts bear a hallmark, nor stamp, but in our opinion it would test as gold, possibly platinum fronted. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H/I, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight (as a pendant) 5.8 grams. CR made 20th June 2016

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
