Composite Collection of White Linen Damask Napkins Embroidered with the Monogram of Prince Louis of Battenberg and Princess Victoria of Hesse, comprising two white damask linen napkins embroidered in white cotton with a red outline and crown above, another embroidered just in white, 80cm by 95cm; another pair woven with the monogram to each corner within the damask design, 80cm by 93cm; nine white linen damask napkins embroidered with an 'L' and crown in white cotton on a floral ground, 63cm by 63cm; three similar embroidered in red cotton with 'L' and crown within an oak leaf border, 70cms square (17)

Two white and red outline embroidered napkins - couple of darned areas, staining, small splits, the second has some brown marks around folds. White embroidered napkin - two patched areas, couple of tiny holes and slight wear. Pair of napkins woven with monogram to corners - several areas of slight wear overall, the second has a couple of small darning marks, holes and stains. Nine white napkins with white embroidered monogram - 5 in good condition, the remainder have slight wear, couple of brown marks, and couple of tiny holes. Three napkins with red embroidery - one has a couple of holes and edge torn, another small hole and third slight wear.

Wednesday 17 August - Thursday 18 August 10am-4pm, Friday 19 August 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
