Group of Nine 'Humorous' Figures Designed by Paul de Bur, depicting cricketers, golfers, sailor and two others, wire figures mounted with crepe paper and hand painted faces and costume details, each stands on a circular base, some with a title, signed and dated to the underside 1953, approximately 14cm high, green bases 10cm diameter

Paul de Bur was a display and theatrical artist working mid 20th Century

Provenance: 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma and thence by family descent

Wednesday 17 August - Thursday 18 August 10am-4pm, Friday 19 August 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
