Circa 1920s and 1930s Costume Accessories, including a black silk taffeta purse, with a black and cream moulded bakelite clasp; beaded evening bag with bead trim, floral carved hinged mount; green and purple iridescent fan with gilt metal mount modelled as an Iris to the guard, 15cm; two similar feathered miniature fans, two eastern style purses, and a classical style applique suede purse

Bakelite purse - some scuffing and wear to outside of purse to bakelite, impressed to interior '39', cream and black striped silk lining appears ok, black silk bag with pleated edges - ok, 17cm by 24cm. Silvered purse with Eastern script - 17cm by 23cm, colours faded and some wear, some staining to lining. Envelope style purse - coloured silk and metallic threads - generally backing cloth discoloured overall and fading to silks, tiny pin head sized hole to upper edge, gilt metal button just attached by a pin, led leather lining shows wear, 15cm by 9cm. Suede classical style purse - staining and discolouration to suede, numerous sequins missing, part of gilt metal mount missing, blue silk lining has some holes to the top, 17cm by 14.5cm. Deco beaded purse - 22cm by 23cm, carved mount ok, some bead losses and to the tassel trims, lining has several holes and tears. Green feather fan - ribbon split, damages to feathers in a couple of areas, height of guard - 14cm. Two small fans - 14cm closes, slight wear to both.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
