Early 19th Century Chintz Quilt, with a central square depicting a Chinoserie scene with a bridge over a stream and two swans in the foreground, framed by appliques printed with Chinese figures fishng, playing musical instruments, hunting stags and others, on diamond quilting with sunburst stitching to the corners, appliqued around the outer frame with baskets and bouquets of flowers, within a floral printed border incorporating blue, brown and pink flowerheads, 280cm by 270cm (a.f.)

Wednesday 17 August - Thursday 18 August 10am-4pm, Friday 19 August 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
